Steps I Will Take with Copyright Issues

My claim

If a person has copied, adapted or distributed my artistic work then I will take the following steps:

 

1. Contacting the person directly. Contacting the person via their email or any other means of contact to address the copyright issue and hoping good outcome for both.

 

2. Contact their web host. Unfortunately, if the person is not as cooperative as I hoped then the next step will be to contact their web hosting company directly and address the situation to them. As I would normally address that I have tried to resolve the copyright issue with the person however the person has not respond well or not at all. I will also include a link to both the infringing page and its original use on my page.

 

3. Notify their advertisers or other affiliates. Notifying each of them accordingly, therefore, making it clear to them that this website's traffic is achieved by sharing copyright-protected content.
