I  try to surround myself with photography; I was enthusiastic to take a further interest in photography by looking at the compelling scenes that relate to the past. I particularly relish in shooting at Ironbridge and Blists Hill because of the history and the satisfaction of the juxtaposition in the colours, textures, and the essence within the shots.

 

In college, I studied technology and art that has shaped the past and will continue doing so in the future. Understanding and studying animation, cinematography, photography has opened my eyes to the industry that gives more than the of life. In college, my courses were essential computer graphics, media production and photography. I like the challenge of getting other people interested in a narrative, a spectacle of epic visuals to strike to the heart of reality and imagination. I strive in my photographic art to hunt for unique and exquisite shots that capture the imagination and beauty of life or beyond.

 

Increasing my skills in the technology pool of knowledge; continuously challenging myself to experiment with new types of art forms from conceptual photography to the documentary style of photography and film to drawing and animating to video game design at college and beyond. Improving my skills in applications like Microsoft Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Premiere Pro and Lightroom. Recently I have been captivated by portraiture, learning the language and beauty of the subject matter. Learning new photographers and building on that with having people wear everyday objects on their bodies to create these fabulous and stylish images that bring new life to a kitchen towel or a plastic bin bag in a fashionable way that uplifts an ordinary object to new form. Overall, experimenting with lighting and compositions to immerse myself into the art and the history and ongoing development of technology, creative art, and cinematography.

 

Continuing to improve myself at university and beyond in the creative industry to feed my thirst for exploring art and my practice of photography, understanding it in some many ways to capture that feeling through images. To learn not just about photography but the world, to explore different cultures, different beliefs, different attitudes, and compelling moments across the world.
